Scenic Automation:
There are 4 tracks moving objects on and offstage.
One curved track runs from centre stage right to downstage centre
DSR and DSL tracks move furniture (and people) on and off stage
Between the upstage portal and the cyc is a track which runs across the full width of the stage
The upstage and centre stage portals also track on and off stage.
Projection:
The portals are covered with a shading fabric called Textilene, which allows them to be projected onto, but becomes transparent when the portal internal lighting is turned on,
There are two pairs of projectors from front of house, house left and house right, which cover the portals facing the stage, as well as their inner sides.
