Avolites Consoles

Xavier wrote the following in July 2025:
My father, Michel Goudon, was at the time the technical director of the Palais des Spectacles in Saint-Etienne, France.
He went to Avolites in England in 1989 to see this new QM500TD console, the first traditional DMX console... At the time, to avoid paying customs, which was very expensive, the importation of this console into France was done by Holiday on Ice in a shipping container...
I was 15 when it arrived, and I remember it like it was yesterday. My father and I were two children in front of a toy store...
I'm now 51 years old. My father died this year in February, he was 75... and I kept this console. It's priceless to me today every time I use it, because yes, I still use it, and I think of my father with all the memories...
The model is the 009 serial from September 1989.
We also bought a Diamond 3 a few years later. Here are the photos.
