History of the company and John Lethbridge

From the Cereco International Ltd website in 2006

John Lethbridge, Managing Director of Cereco International Limited, has been designing and supplying entertainment lighting systems professionally since 1970. His experience in the industry has covered lighting live performances, international concert tours, theatres, conferences, clubs, exhibitions, fashion shows, architectural installations and private residences.
He has worked as a designer, operator, installer and primarily as an international distributor for most of the leading manufacturers of entertainment lighting equipment and effects located in Europe.
After operating a semi-professional Light Show and multi-media performance group from 1968 until 1970, he created 'Cerebrum Lights', a performing Light Show.
Subsequently, he became Managing Director & Chairman of Cerebrum Lighting Ltd. following incorporation in 1976. Cerebrum Lighting were today one of the premier distributors of entertainment lighting equipment - he sold his interest in the company around 2005/2006 to Lighting Technology Group Ltd., in order to concentrate on more specialised areas of business. He was also the founder and President of Celco Inc., based in Farmingdale, New York, a U.S. distributor of British products. The corporation was sold to Klark Teknik Group in 1988.
John was one of the founding committee members and a former vice-chairman of PLASA (Professional Lighting & Sound Association) and was an active member of the ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians) Safety Committee.
