"Based on 32-bit RISC processors, the Finesse offers 1,024 dimmers on 300 channels with 600 cues and 2,000 macros. There are 24 simultaneous submasters or effects and options include SMPTE, MIDI, networking and remote control. I first saw the graphics tablet with Arri (with - as I understand it - inspiration along the way from Tim Burnham, Dave Cunningham and Eric Cornwall), which remains potentially a great way of handling lights."
