Using software

Sketchup – http://www.sketchup.com/ (free of charge)

Powerful and easy to use, this software allows you to build a 3D world inside the computer very easily, to scale. You could build a 3D model of your school drama room or hall and enable students to build their dream set and look at it from different angles, even using basic lighting. Graphics can be ‘pasted’ onto 3D objects enabling the creation of very realistic environments simply.
Sketchup can also be used in conjunction with a 3D printer to print a physical model of the design.
