We can offer both service and support on most of the Strand range of dimmers and desks, from Mini 2 to 550 control desks and JTM to SLD dimmers.
We now are able to supply “NEW” UPGRADE KITS FOR PATT 23 and PATT 743/223 range of lamp bases (P28) All the components are new and are available from the address below (orders addressed to me please). The kits include Lamp holder, extension, ceramic terminal block, with all fixing screws and washers. All that is required is the replacement lamp, a screw driver and pair of cutters to upgrade the luminaire.

Asbestos
Asbestos was used in the manufacture of certain items of older stage/tv/film lighting equipment.
If your equipment has not been professionally serviced in some time, please check for the following:
- Asbestos power inlet cables
Power cables covered with a white woven outer sheath are most likely asbestos. Replace with silicone-insulated (heat resistant) cable at the earliest opportunity. - Asbestos insulators beneath lamp base
Check for an asbestos washer under the lamp base of early “Patt” lanterns. Replace with modern equivalents.
Strand Electric Junior 8 dimmers also contain a significant quantity of asbestos.
Seek advice from local officials about the correct and safe way to dispose of asbestos in your area.
