Doughty Engineering
Founded as Doughty Trailer Sales in February 1970, the company moved into the entertainment industry in 1980 when Adrian Sant (of AJS Theatrical Supplies) asked them to make a batch of 500 hook clamps for theatre lanterns. Boom arms and safety chains followed, and now the company is a major supplier of rigging and safety equipment to the industry.
