Founded in 1978 by Mr. Dan Redler and Mr. Alfred Senator, who retired from the company in 2015. Compulite is now owned by Mr. Yehuda Shukrun, the CEO.

1978 Compulite unveils the world’s first computerised lighting console, based on a microprocessor that gave lighting designers and board operators a new approach to light control.
1984 Compulite pioneers moving light control with the Telescan Lighting Computer.
1989 Ovation 3A and Applause 3A desks are introduced and quickly become the console of choice in hundreds of theaters and other installations.
1990 Animator makes its debut and quickly becomes the most popular integrated moving light control console worldwide.
1993 A new generation of the Ovation 3B and Applause 3B lighting consoles roll off the production line and enjoy extensive sales to theatres, television sudios and public institutions.
1994 A line of spin-off products, including the Whisper color scroller, the Corona dowser, and Yokes recive a warm welcom throughout the lighting industry
1996 Spark and Photon join the Compulite line of products.
1997 Sabre, Ovation 4D, and Micron 4D are exhibited along with CompuLINK (for Ethernet communication) and the revolutionary compuCAD for computer aided lighting design.
2001 Breaking new ground with the RAVE console for clubs and DJs. Moving to a new building in Hod Hasharon, Israel.
2002 Compulite introduces Vector Red, console, unique in its capabilities, power and stability.
2003 Following the success of vector red Compulite introduces the second member of the Vector family – Vector Blue.
2004 Introducing the last member of the Vector family – Vector Green and the Dlite new line of advanced and yet affordable consoles. Compulite also continues the development of the Compusine – controllable electronic transformer which eliminates the problems of conventional dimmer technology.
